Meth testing in Wollongong
Wollongong and the Illawarra have a mix of university rentals, older workers' cottages and new estates. We sample from Helensburgh down to Shellharbour and Kiama.
Many Illawarra homes date from the post-war decades, so asbestos sampling is a sensible add-on if you are buying to renovate.

New South Wales rules to know
Since 23 March 2020, a NSW landlord or agent must tell a prospective tenant if they know the property has been used to manufacture or cultivate a prohibited drug or prohibited plant in the last two years. Failing to disclose a material fact can give the tenant grounds to end the lease or seek compensation.
There is still no NSW requirement to test. Testing gives owners and agents evidence of what they knew and when, and a clear report protects both sides if a dispute reaches the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
