Meth testing in Darwin
Darwin's population moves often, with defence, government and resource workers rotating through, so rental properties change hands frequently. We sample across Darwin, Palmerston and the rural area.
Tropical conditions bring a second common problem: mould. If a property has been closed up through the wet season, consider mould sampling at the same visit.

The Northern Territory rules to know
The Northern Territory has no law requiring meth testing before sale or lease. Landlords must still hand over premises that are habitable and reasonably clean.
Because many NT rentals turn over quickly, property managers often use a screening test at each change of tenant and keep the report with the ingoing condition report.
See meth contamination laws by state. General information only, not legal advice.
