Meth testing in Canberra
Canberra has a highly mobile population of public servants, students and defence families, which keeps rentals turning over. We sample across all of Canberra's districts and over the border in Queanbeyan and Jerrabomberra.
Older Canberra and Queanbeyan homes can carry another legacy hazard: some were insulated with loose-fill asbestos ("Mr Fluffy"), and the ACT and NSW keep registers of affected properties. We can arrange asbestos sampling alongside a meth test.

The Australian Capital Territory rules to know
The ACT has no specific meth testing law. Lessors must provide premises that are fit for habitation and must not mislead tenants about the property.
Canberra buyers and property managers typically follow the national guidelines: test, and if a result exceeds 0.5 µg/100 cm², commission a detailed assessment before anyone moves in.
